This was a Christmas gift for my father, he is more than happy with it, in fact since he got it he was in our local paper after winning a local competition - can't do better than that. My dad is in his 60's & has found it very user friendly & easy to use.
I bought one of these 3/09 and signed up for iGolf downloads at the same time. anyway it is now going in the trash bin. Rubber push button for "ok/shot" fell out this jan 1/10. wanted to send it back for repair or replacement and was told 12 month warranty starts from the date of manufacture not the date you bought it.what kind of nonsense is that, how do you know when the unit was manufactured. What a waste. steve b
Then I would turn it on again and it was ok. I had trouble with turning it on. I bought the iGolf in april 2009 and was delighted. After 8 months of use and constant on and off it shut down and would not come back on. After joining igolf I had more problems with downloading the coarses I wanted. After using it for a few months it started to shut down in the middle of my golf game. I e-mail the igolf company as I had registered this and thought it had a one year warranty as described in the user manual. The responce was they could fix it for $81. I was not happy at all and would not recommend this proudcut.
Product is small yet provides all the information that I require for mygolf game. The price is attractive when compared with the more bells andwhistles products on the market
This is replacement for one lost.igolf bought by Bushnell, they changed unit slightly. Is small and gives most basic info.Is legal to use for tournament golf. Easy enough to download courses, though must be very specific when searching for course in library.Doesn't always want to stay on your belt, (hence replacement). For money gets job done.
